A negative emotion/feeling that needs to be cleansed seldom arises alone. In most cases several emotions come to surface at the same time. Emotions marked with an asterisk (*) are at least such. For example, hatred, anger and contempt are emotions that cannot be cleansed by themselves. You have to analyze why for example, hatred arises and ask for cleansing also for those feelings. Behind hatred you might find for example jealousy and/or possessiveness. It is of utmost importance to be fully honest to oneself when analyzing your feelings and thoughts. It might take a while as it might be difficult and uncomfortable to admit negative feelings and thoughts even to oneself. If you find it difficult to get a hold of the negative feeling or thought, you can meditate or pray that you could get a hold of it. You ask for cleansing from the Light; be it Jesus, Buddha or any other great master and also angels and of course God itself represent Light.
